The purpose of DFMI’s Dramatic Arts Ministry is to effectively portray and convey the
message of Jesus Christ through the performing arts; to minister to people of all ages
through the means of relevant, professional, high quality drama in a manner that is
both entertaining and uncompromising, and makes an impact on the hearts of
Christians and non-Christians alike.

In the Bible, Jesus often used parables to communicate things He wanted His
disciples to understand and, as a result, through the means of earthly perspectives,
they would gain heavenly insights into God’s truths. In Drama, various gifts and
talents are being used to honor God through writing, acting, singing, directing,
lighting, costuming, props and staging.
